Plot Synopsis

Hosted by interior design maven Genevieve Gorder, each one-hour episode of BEST ROOM WINS challenges two top interior designers to create luxury looks for less for couples in desperate need of a room make-over. Using the design theme and inspiration from a multi-million-dollar estate, the designers must work to decorate a room that captures the couples' luxury vision while staying within a $25,000 budget. Three judges -- Gorder, "Elle Decor" Editor-In-Chief Whitney Robinson, and a rotating guest judge -- determine how well each designer executed their rooms and created a multi-million dollar look for their clients based on three criteria: the overall appeal of the design, how far they were able to stretch their budget and client satisfaction. The winning designer is featured in an online spread on Guest judges include powerhouse interior designers Jonathan Adler, Kathryn M. Ireland, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Thom Filicia, Jeff Andrews and Jamie Bush along with Molly Sims, Jason Wu and India Hicks. In the series opener, "Home Sweet Hollywood Regency," Caitlin faces off against sassy young designer Ryan to see who can create the best Hollywood Regency style living room. Along the way Ryan struggles to stay on budget while Caitlin scrambles to keep her demanding homeowners happy. Celebrity designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard is the guest judge.

Along the way, Nick is challenged with finding the perfect furniture to blend his homeowners' wants while keeping within the theme constraints, while Amanza's risk of making custom furniture could cost her the competition. At the end of four days interior designer and host Genevieve Gorder, Editor-In-Chief of ELLE DECOR, Whitney Robinson and celebrity guest judge, Carson Kressley struggle to decide whose interior is superior!
