Plot Synopsis

In each one-hour episode of BEST BITE IN TOWN, Noah Cappe assembles a Bite Club, featuring two chefs including, Tiffani Faison, Shota Nakajima, Joe Sasto, Aarti Sequeira, and Jet Tila. Together, they explore the local food scene in cities across the country, visiting six of the most popular spots in each one. After scouring the town and tasting a wide variety of cuisines, Noah and the Bite Club nominate three exceptional dishes to present to a panel of esteemed culinary judges to determine the Best Bite In Town.

Executive Producer Guy Fieri has selected restaurants in each city for Noah and his Bite Club to check out. Once in town, they each choose two spots to visit to see if their dishes are worthy. From indulging in Banh Mi in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to savoring an authentic sushi experience in Davis, California, and enjoying oysters in Placerville, California, they are on the hunt for the most amazing local dish. This culinary journey leaves no stone unturned as they also sample tacos in Joplin, Missouri, relish a mouthwatering vegan meal in Paducah, Kentucky, and delight in gourmet pizza in Clarksville, Tennessee. But they can each only nominate one extraordinary dish for the final showdown, where an expert panel of judges evaluate the three nominated dishes and crown one as the Best Bite In Town.

On Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered a sneak peek episode of BEST BITE IN TOWN, immediately following the two-hour Season 5 finale of TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS. In this episode, "Davis," Guy Fieri sends his buddy Noah Cappe along with acclaimed chefs Tiffani Faison and Jet Tila to hit the food scene in Davis, California. Once in town, they each select two restaurants, trying everything from college hangouts and local pubs to bicycle-friendly eateries and high-end sushi. After tasting a wide variety of delicious food, they select one dish each to take to a crowd-packed showcase in the Davis city center where a panel of Guy's esteemed judges will taste, evaluate and determine which restaurant has the best bite in town.

BEST BITE IN TOWN makes its official series debut five days later on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network. In this episode, "New Haven," Guy Fieri unleashes Noah Cappe, Jet Tila and Tiffani Faison on New Haven, Connecticut, where they embark on a fun-filled journey to sample the most amazing food in the city's most acclaimed restaurants. They hit all the highlights, from burgers and hot honey pizza to hot chicken and empanadas, ultimately choosing one dish each to set before Guy's panel of esteemed judges.
