Plot Synopsis

BANANA is a half-hour series featuring stand-alone stories that offer an unexpected peek into the lives, loves and losses of a range of diverse characters who orbit around the world of Henry Best, the central character of CUCUMBER. Each 30-minute episode focuses on one or two characters. Young lesbian Scotty pursues an unrequited love; Dean has mysterious family secrets and a sexually charged liaison with an enigmatic Geordie Man; Sian struggles to choose between lover Violet and her over-protective mum Vanessa; and Helenis besieged by unwanted attention from an ex. Logo aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11pm ET/PT, immediately following the U.S. debut of CUCUMBER, which explores the lives and misadventures of Henry and his long-suffering boyfriend of nine years, Lance Sullivan.

On Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:30pm ET/PT, Logo premiered the Season 1 finale of BANANA, as Vanessa finds herself working alongside a young Nigerian girl, and realizes that she'll need to face certain truths about herself for the first time.
