Plot Synopsis

Twelve-year-old Gumball is a blue cat who deals with his wacky family, goes to school and hangs out with his friends in the little town of Elmore. His Dad is a six-foot, four-inch pink rabbit who wears a business suit and tie but stays at home while his Mom, a blue cat, works in the rainbow factory. Gumball also has a younger, pink-bunny sister named Anais, who is a four-year-old genius, and Gumball's best pal is his pet golfish, Darwin, who became part of the family when he sprouted legs. At school, Gumball's hangs out with a tyrannosaurus rex, a cheerleading peanut, and a banana. This series combines 2D and 3D animation techniques with live-action backgrounds. Cartoon Network and Boomerang aired a sneak-peek, 15-minute episode on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 8:30pm ET. THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL returned for its third season on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 6:30-7pm ET/PT, as Cartoon Network aired back-to-back new episodes.
On Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 10-10:30am ET/PT, Cartoon Network premiered the seventh season of the series, titled THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL; DARWIN'S YEARBOOK. The new season follows Darwin, who must create a school yearbook, but the episodes only feature clips from the first six seasons of GUMBALL. Season 7 debuted with back-to-back quarter-hour episodes:

"Banana Joe" (10am): When Principal Brown sets Darwin the task of making the school yearbook, Darwin starts by asking class clown Banana Joe for a simple selfie to put on the cover. But with Banana Joe, things are never that simple.

"Clayton" (10:15am): Darwin needs to find a photo of Clayton to put on the cover of the school yearbook - but he makes the mistake of seeking help from Tobias, who has his eye on the cover spot himself!
