Plot Synopsis

A group of amateur handymen and handywomen -- 20 competitors in Seasons 1 & 2 but only 10 people in Season 3 -- compete in a series of fix-it challenges that let them showcase their abilities and their integrity in front of a panel of judges. The best contestant will nail each competition and avoid elimination to win: the title of All American Handyman; a $10,000 shopping spree at Sears; and a show development deal with HGTV. The judging panel includes Mike Holmes (HOLMES ON HOLMES), Scott McGillivray (INCOME PROPERTY) and a secret guest judge. Past winners include: Peter Wong (Season 1); Jared Polston (Season 2).
