Plot Synopsis

Exploring true stories of suspicious deaths, each hour-long episode of ACCIDENT, SUICIDE OR MURDER retraces the investigation from start to finish, taking viewers through the twists and turns of these cases -- from dissecting the red flags to the undeniable evidence and strange behavior that put the tragedy in question. With the families fighting for justice and the detectives on the case determined to find the truth, motives are exposed and justice is served as the families finally find out what caused the death of their loved ones. In the series opener, "The Sinister Minister," respected pastor A.B. Schirmer's wife dies in a tragic car accident, the small Pennsylvania community mourns. But when a congregant commits suicide in the pastor's office, red flags are raised exposing a lurid affair. The pastor's inappropriate behavior and suspicious past sparks another investigation into the death of his first wife. Driven by friends and family members of the victims, a determined detective begins a crusade for justice.

On Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 6pm ET/PT, Oxygen premiered the second season of ACCIDENT, SUICIDE OR MURDER. In the season opener, "Behind the Locked Door," Ellen Greenberg was found dead in her locked apartment with over 20 stab wounds. But with no signs of an intruder or a struggle, detectives search for evidence and dig into Ellen's mental health to determine her cause of death. After an initial ruling of her death, months later, a medical examiner stunned family members with a rare reversal, launching her parents into their own investigation to fight for justice for their daughter. Later in the season, ACCIDENT, SUICIDE OR MURDER searches for the truth about more cases -- from twin sisters with a violent past with each other whose relationship is questioned when one sister is found dead in a car wreck in Maui to a wife of an adulterous cop found mysteriously deceased.

Season 3 of ACCIDENT, SUICIDE OR MURDER premiered on Saturday, April 17, 2021 on Oxygen at a special time: 8:30pm ET/PT. In the season opener, "Dark Echoes," a weekend trip to an Alaskan lodge turns deadly for a young mother when she's shot and killed by her boyfriend. The death is ruled an accident and the case is closed until an eerily similar incident in Montana drives investigators to reopen the case. ACCIDENT, SUICIDE OR MURDER moves to its regular timeslot -- Saturdays at 7pm -- the following Saturday.

ACCIDENT, SUICIDE OR MURDER returned for its fourth season on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT on Oxygen. In the season opener, "The Big Shot," 9-1-1 dispatchers in Milford, NJ, receive an urgent call about a man who had been shot at the home of professional basketball player Jayson Williams during a late-night party. Guests of the party originally claimed that limousine driver Gus Christofi had shot himself with a gun he obtained at the home. However, this curious web of lies quickly unraveled and led detectives on a rocky road to the truth to find justice for the unlikely victim. Season 4 also takes a look into Dee Dee Jackson's fateful death. The ex-wife of Tito Jackson and mother of three died in an apparent accidental drowning in a pool at the home of her then-boyfriend. Plus, the series investigates the tragic murder of actress Lana Clarkson at the hands of famed music producer Phil Spector.

In the mid-season premiere, "Friend or Foe?," two young friends who are prominent in the online deaf community pursue a shared dream in the northern California wilderness; when the pact turns sour and one of them goes missing, detectives must make sense of their perilous and deadly journey.
