Plot Synopsis

Based on the book by Jenny Cockell. A Pennsylvania wife and mother begins having vivid and familiar dreams of Mary Sutton, a poor Irish woman who tries to protect her large family from her abusive, alcoholic husband in the 1930s. When she learns she is pregnant her dreams intensify and both her doctor and husband believe these visions are caused by hormonal changes. After undergoing hypnosis she travels to Ireland and investigates her ''past life family'', eventually reuniting many of the surviving kids who became separated after Mary's death.
