Plot Synopsis

A young Latina girl, who is trying to keep her family together working as a messenger, finds her life turned around when a young music mogul selects her,after making a bet with his boss that he can take any girl off the street and make her a pop star. She accepts the offer and after a long month of makeovers, voice and dance lessons, takes the stage and is an immediate hit. She is soon torn between her proud heritage and the Latina stereotype she's become.
