Plot Synopsis
A New York psychiatrist learns that he has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant, and that a sibling would make the best donor. When his mother reveals that he was actually adopted in England he takes off for Britain in search of his biological mother. He locates his ''new family'' who openly welcome him into their working-class hearts. The warm feelings soon turn chilly when he eventually reveals the real truth behind his sojourn.
