Plot Synopsis
Based on the book ''Rescuers: Portraits of Moral Courage in the Holocaust by G. Block, M. Drucker. Two stories about Gentiles who aided Jews during WWII. 1. ''Malka Csizmadia''- a Hungarian woman falls in love with a Jewish man living in the ghetto. When he devises a plan to build a tunnel to escape she enlists the aid of her family. 2. ''We Are Circus''- a married couple who run a traveling circus in Nazi Germany hide Jewish people as big top performers.
