Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel by Luanne Rice. A Nova Scotia widower travels to New York City with his teenage son and daughter from the family's Christmas tree farm to sell their seasonal wares. Trouble ensues when his son runs away to pursue his passion for photography. A year later, they return - again, to sell Christmas trees, and to continue searching for the boy, who's secretly been studying photography under the informal tutelage of a museum curator, whose beloved husband died three years earlier. Eventually, the lonely widow, distraught father and estranged son come together - in a Christmas to remember for all time.
