Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel ''Outbreak'' by Robin Cook. A low-level researcher at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta is sent to investigate a mysterious illness in Los Angeles. Discovering a possible epidemic of the deadly Ebola virus she must uncover the source of this lethal disease before it devastates the United States. She begins to suspect that the infectious episodes may in fact be part of a nefarious plot by a cabal of powerful doctors who want to profit from the deadly outbreak.
