Plot Synopsis
A single mother and supervisor of a pediatric intensive-care unit volunteers to become the foster parent to an abandoned nine week old baby girl who is born HIV-positive and heroin addicted. A year later the child's AIDS wracked mother shows up to legally reclaim her daughter. Feeling compassion for the irresponsible woman, she lets her move in to her home and together they form an uncommon bond to provide love for the little girl.
