Plot Synopsis
In 1989, Detroit housewife, Carol Stevens, travels to Bucharest, Romania to adopt two children from a squalid state run orphanage. With the help of a dedicated French doctor they fight through endless red-tape and bureaucratic obstinacy to save the abandoned babies from a certain death.
