Plot Synopsis
Based on the play by William Gibson. In 1887 Alabama, the Keller family is at wits end as what to do with their wild 8 year old daughter Helen, who has been blind, deaf and mute since she was an infant. The make one last attempt to find a solution to their daunting problem. They hire teacher Annie Sullivan and with her tough love and groundbreaking techniques, she is eventually able to help Helen discover the world.
