Plot Synopsis

A modern retelling of Louisa Mae Alcott's classic novel, "Little Women." Sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March are shocked to learn that their parents are planning to sell their beloved home, Orchard House. They can no longer afford to keep up with the extensive house repairs and plan to sell it after Christmas. Jo talks her sisters into helping her bring the house back to its former glory while their parents are away - maybe if they repair it in time, the family can afford to stay under the same roof. She enlists friend and neighbor Teddy, who she suspects has a crush on her. With fixing up the house and pursuing her writing career, she has no time for romance. That suits sister Amy just fine, since she likes Teddy but can't get him to notice her. All the while Meg is wrestling with her feelings for an old beau whose heart she broke, while Beth is concerned with the growing friction between her sisters as they rush to finish the house before the holiday. Instead of a house full of Christmas cheer, it's now a tense, hostile environment with the sisters having a major falling out. Now Jo must find a way to bring the them back together to save the house -- and their family -- before Christmas is ruined.
