Plot Synopsis

With the fall season underway, Hank, a New England farmer, finds himself embroiled in a legal property dispute with his next-door neighbor. Upon learning of her father's plight, Hank's daughter, Claire, an ambitious New York attorney, returns to her small hometown in Vermont to help save his beloved farm from being taken away from her family. There, she runs into Patrick Harris, a handsome local attorney who turns out to be related to the woman suing Hank and is representing her in their upcoming court case. Though they haven't seen each other since their days as high school rivals, Claire and Patrick find themselves on opposing sides of the heated property dispute and battling over the coveted farmland. As the quaint New England town eagerly anticipates an upcoming fall celebration event, Claire and Patrick prepare to engage in a legal battle, both striving to secure the coveted farmland for their families. When they unexpectedly wind up enjoying a host of local autumn festivities together, Claire finds herself developing an appreciation for small town life. Before long, despite being adversaries a romantic spark ignites between them and conflicting feelings arise as an autumn romance begins to bloom.
