Plot Synopsis

Based on the 1942 B movie, ''Moontide''. After a night of heavy drinking, an arrogant, obnoxious Hollywood executive finds himself on a deserted beach and lying next to him is his female companion who is dead. A local vagrant, who claims to have witnessed the killing, agrees to remain silent if the bigwig agrees to take care of him. The once ragged blackmailer soon becomes a player in Hollywood, taking over his ''new friends'' life and career, while the duped executive becomes desperate to uncover the truth.
