Plot Synopsis

As global warming accelerates, drought ravages the usually rainy Pacific Northwest. Two brilliant young scientists, Damon Jared and Joanne Dyson along with their team of experts embark on an experiment using liquid nitrogen to stimulate cloud formation and induce precipitation. But something goes horribly wrong. A violent windstorm whips through a small town freezing everything in its path. Best-selling techno-thriller author, Charlie Price, is at a book signing in town when the disaster strikes and realizes that the abnormal windstorm is something straight out of one of his science fiction novels. He is soon involved with Damon and Joanne as they race to uncover the mystery behind these disasters. More super cells spring up, spawning dozens of ice twisters that sweep across the state, heading to heavily populated cities. Every rational scientific solution taken by the team has turned out to be a grave mistake. Now it's up to Charlie to bring in his "zero-gravity" thinking and stop these disasters before it's too late.
