Plot Synopsis

Stephanie and Andrew have been married for several years and seem to be the perfect couple, but all is not as it appears: Andrew is an abusive and brutally controlling husband. Stephanie is living her life in constant fear and waits for a chance to escape with her young daughter. She finally stages her own death, and flees to beautiful Palm Springs to start a new life with a new identity for her and her daughter. Eight years later, she is a successful real-estate agent with a new fiance, Brett, and her now 17-year-old daughter has grown into a lovely young woman. But when Andrew finds out that his wife is not dead, he hires a private investigator to track her down. Posing as a potential homebuyer, the investigator meets Rachel and reports back all the details to Andrew who will now stop at nothing to exact revenge for the all lost years.
