Plot Synopsis
In 1996, high school football player, Daniel Huffman, made a altruistic decision that ended his football dreams when he donated one of his kidneys to his gravely ill grandmother. Though she adamantly opposed the idea, the young man was determined to her life. The operation was a success, but his hopes of going to college and a football scholarship are gone until Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden, moved by Huffmans' generous spirit of compassion, awarded him a full scholarship as a student athletic trainer.
