Plot Synopsis

Based on the book ''Jody'' by Jerry Hulse. In the need of life saving surgery an adopted woman must find her biological parents in order to get vital family medical history prior to the risky operation. At first reluctant, her real mother finally accepts her child's situation but refuses to divulge the circumstances surrounding the birth father. It is eventually revealed that she had been raped and has repressed his identity for many years. Together they unblock the painful memories and confront the man responsible.
