Plot Synopsis

When Susan, a single mom and unemployed Los Angeles museum curator, and her three sensitive sons are temporarily living in a small California town, she meets Jake, a local winery owner who is a single dad of two tomboys. When Susan's labrador Rusty and Jake's poodle Cheri fall for each other, these canine matchmakers help their owners fall in love too. Now with a Christmas Day wedding to plan -- and major complications threatening to unravel it all -- the two mismatched broods must find a way to make one happy family.
