Plot Synopsis
Remake of the 1971 ABC TV Movie. Chicago Bears football players Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers start out as rookies and antagonistic rivals, both fierce competitors but, when they became roommates on the road they soon become best friends. The both help each other to achieve the best, with encouragement and relentless training. Both of them become gridiron stars but the fame is fleeting when Piccolo is diagnosed with cancer. Bear teammates, led by Sayers, help him face his impending death with dignity and courage.
