Plot Synopsis
In 1949, a housebound blind women befriends a lonely 12 year-old boy who's dyslexia goes undetected by his teacher and single mother. The two form an unlikely bond with each determined to help each other overcome their disability. The young man teaches the blind women to use a cane while she teaches him how to read using braille. Together they learn valuable lessons about courage and perseverance.
