Plot Synopsis

Equestrian Jenna Danville is paralyzed after being thrown from her horse during a competition. With her protective single father at her side, she decides to enter into an intense physical therapy program as part of a research study, with no guarantee of success. Wheelchair bound, she finds herself lonely and frustrated, and comes close to giving up. Then, she meets Annie, a punk rock patient in her therapy class, who is also paralyzed with a bad attitude. She soon begins to crack Annie's tough exterior and also starts to fall in love with her new neighbor, an ex-rodeo cowboy who helps her get back in the saddle. When she hears Annie is in trouble she must risk her own life to save her friend, and learns that healing takes one step at a time.
