Plot Synopsis

First Original Miniseries Made for LMN - Lifetime Movie Network. Based on the book "Chasing the Devil" by David Reichert. Washington state detective, Dave Reichert obsessively tracks the Green River Killer who murdered 48 women from the Seattle area between 1982 and 1998. The elusive killer targets runaways and prostitutes, leaving few clues. Over 20 years Reichert uses guile, wits and perseverance to hunt the murderer, causing serious strain on his marriage. He is finally gets a break in the case and brings in Gary Ridgway, a sociopath with the ability to pass polygraph tests, but whom DNA evidence would later conclusively prove his guilt.
