Plot Synopsis

Using his business degree, life experiences and unorthodox approach Nathan Fielder helps struggling companies with strategies that no traditional business consultant would dare to attempt -- usually with comedic consequences. Whether he convinces a yogurt shop to generate buzz by introducing a controversial flavor or devises a scheme for eight-minute pizza delivery, Nathan gives advice to two different business owners in each 30-minute episode. Nathan's other ideas, which often draw real people into an experience far beyond what they signed up for, include: helping a taxi company reinvent the cab ride; finding a legal way for a gas station to charge $1.75 per gallon and still make money; marketing a petting zoo with unexpected results; working to make a fledgling caricature artist famous; convincing a clothing store to allow shoplifting; and many more out-of-the-ordinary business models. NATHAN FOR YOU returned for its second season on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:30pm ET/PT on Comedy Central. In the Season 2 premiere, Nathan sets out to prove that honest auto mechanics do exist by having one submit himself to a lie detector test every time he provides an estimate, and helps a struggling realtor find a niche in a competitive market by taking her down an unexpected, and somewhat out of this world, path as the area's first Ghost Realtor -- providing guarantees that the homes she shows are free of any and all supernatural entities. Season 3 of NATHAN FOR YOU premiered on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT on Comedy Central. In the new season, Nathan goes even further as he attempts to start a nationwide fitness craze, help a hotel cater to sexually active parents, and pull off the most astonishing life transformation ever to be broadcast on television. The season kicks off with the "Electronics Store" episode, as Nathan faces off against a big corporation in an attempt to help a struggling electronics store -- by taking advantage of Best Buy's policy on price guarantees. Season 4 of NATHAN FOR YOU premiered on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT on Comedy Central. In the new season, Nathan helps a computer repair shop earn its customers' trust by hiring a fully asexual staff; devises a plan to sell hot chili at a hockey arena by hiding it under his clothing; and attempts to get around international tariff laws by rebranding smoke alarms as musical instruments. With his unorthodox approach to problem solving, Nathan's genuine efforts to do good often draw the real people he encounters into an experience far beyond what they signed up for. The fourth season concludes on Thursday, November 9 at 9pm with a two-hour finale.

On Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 9-11pm ET/PT, Comedy Central premiered the Season 4 finale of NATHAN FOR YOU. In the two-hour season ender, "Finding Frances," Nathan attempts to help a Bill Gates impersonator reunite with his long-lost love.
