Plot Synopsis

Two investigators -- an author who is a believer and a PhD scientist who is a skeptic -- travel the world trying to uncover answers that explain mysterious incidents. The believer is author/journalist Randall Sullivan, who is convinced that miracles are real after witnessing an inexplicable vision during a violent thunder and lightning storm in Bosnia. The skeptic is Indre Viskontas, a PhD neuroscientist at The UCSF Memory and Aging Center, who studies creativity, dementia, and memory loss. OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network aired a sneak peek episode on New Year's Day 2011 at 5pm, and only days later showed the official series premiere on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 10pm.
