On Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 8pm ET/PT, Lifetime premieres a new "It’s a Wonderful Lifetime" original movie, LADIES OF THE 80’s: A DIVAS CHRISTMAS. In this very campy and heartwarming movie, five glamorous, '80s soap opera stars reunite to share the spotlight to shoot the final Christmas episode of their long-running soap opera. The producer, Alex, and director, Nell, who happen to be old college friends, do their best to keep things on the rails but as the divas of daytime come together, old rivalries resurface that threaten to tear the whole production apart. With the show nearly canceled before it even begins due to the ladies' famous diva snipings, slap fest, falling down a spiral staircase, a diva-licious food fight, pushing each other in the pool, the women reluctantly agree to set aside their differences and "past secrets" to "act" as if they all still love each other, only to eventually discover that the love between them is still strong...Also, when old love sparks reignite between Alex and Nell, the stars become eager to play cupid and conspire to bring the couple together. The show becomes a ratings hit ushering in a new television format for the series and the divas - the first streaming, "reality", soap opera. A Christmas romance blooms full for Alex and Nell, and all the ladies are gifted with learning about themselves and each other. This is a MUST SEE for fans of classic primetime and daytime melodramas.
