Plot Synopsis

In this spinoff of LAW & ORDER: SVU, Elliot Stabler returns to the NYPD to battle organized crime after a devastating personal loss. However, the city and police department have changed dramatically in the decade he's been away and he must adapt to a criminal justice system in the midst of its own moment of reckoning. Stabler aims to find absolution and rebuild his life while leading a new elite task force that is taking apart the city's most powerful criminal syndicates one by one. LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME debuted on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT, as part of a crossover event with SVU. Mariska Hargitay guest starred in "What Happens in Puglia," the series opener of ORGANIZED CRIME.

The sophomore season of LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME premieres on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT on NBC. In the season opener, "The Man With No Identity," after taking down Wheatley's drug empire and discovering his wife's killer, Det. Stabler must infiltrate a notorious crime family aiming to take over New York City's cocaine trade. Sgt. Bell is forced to work with a rival colleague when their investigations collide. Also starring Ainsley Seiger. After a four-week break, LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME returned with new episodes on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on NBC. In the winter premiere, "Nemesis," when a notorious cybercriminal escapes a high-security prison, Stabler must team up with an unlikely informant. Kilbride takes Nova under his wing.

Season 3 of LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME premiered on Thursday, September 22, 2022 on NBC at a special time, 8pm ET/PT, as part of a three-episode crossover with SVU (9pm) and LAW & ORDER (10pm). LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME moves to its regular timeslot -- Thursdays at 10pm -- the following week. As the telecast begins, a mysterious young girl is shot in cold blood and Det. Frank Cosgrove (Jeffrey Donovan) teams up with Det. Jalen Shaw (Mehcad Brooks, first episode) to track down her killer. Capt. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Det. Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) are called in to help when they realize they have more than a typical homicide case on their hands. After uncovering key evidence, Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) and ADA Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) seek justice against an international crime ring, but complications threaten the outcome of their case. There will be no credits nor title sequences at the top of the 9 and 10pm hours. After a four-week break, LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME returned with new episodes on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT on NBC. In the winter premiere, "Trap," an informant comes to Stabler desperate for help, and the task force sets their sights on a dangerous gang making their mark on New York. Jamie goes undercover, but soon realizes he may be in over his head. Bell meets her new boss.

LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME returned for its fourth season on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT on NBC. In the season opener, "Memory Lane," Stabler must deal with rapid changes at work and home after returning from a dangerous undercover assignment. Bell hires an advisor whose AI technology program could revolutionize police investigation. Jet and Reyes struggle with Whelan's absence.

On Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT, NBC premiered "Stabler's Lament," the Season 4 finale of LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME. When the ATF Bureau plans a raid of Redcoat's warehouse, Trisha promises to help Stabler keep Joe Jr. safe. Bell comes face to face with the man who killed Sam. Another Stabler family dinner causes tensions to run high.

LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME has been renewed for a fifth season, moving from NBC to Peacock for Season 5.
