Plot Synopsis
Pulled from an archive of more than 10,000 interviews recorded over nearly 50 years, DAVID FROST VS. is a six-part docuseries that centers on era-defining interviews conducted by legendary broadcaster Sir David Frost, who had a front-row seat to almost half a century of social, political, and cultural change. Made in collaboration with Frost's son, Wilfred, each one-hour episode is built on over 50 years' worth of rare or never-before-seen archive, revealing a unique view of transatlantic history from 1960-2000. This archive footage is supplemented by interviews with contributors who help uncover Frost's incredible life and career as one of the nation's most renowned news anchors.
DAVID FROST VS. made its U.S. debut on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 9pm ET on MSNBC. The series opener, "The Beatles," dives into what inspires The Beatles, and John Lennon in particular, at the peak of their fame and in the immediate aftermath of their break-up. Plus, they express their passion for Transcendental Meditation art and full-blown activism.
