Plot Synopsis

In 1994, seventeen-year-old Isabel Baker was murdered The crime shocked the small Australian town of Ashford, devastating her South Sea Islander community. The case was never solved, and the killer never found. But 25 years later, the opening of a time capsule unearth a secret that puts cold-case Detective James Cormack on the trail of the killer. BLACK SNOW made its U.S. debut on Thursday, February 23, 2023 on SundanceNow, as the streaming service released two episodes. A new installment dropped weekly through March 23. On Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 10:05pm ET/PT, AMC aired the U.S. linear television debut of BLACK SNOW.

Season 2 of BLACK SNOW debuted on Thursday, April 24, 2025 on AMC+, which released the first two episodes. A new installment drops weekly on Thursdays through May 22. On Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 10:05pm ET/PT, AMC aired the season's first episode as a Season 2 linear TV sneak peak. Detective Cormack tackles two separate missing persons cases. One is professional, as he investigates the disappearance of Zoe Jacobs, from her own 21st birthday party in 2003. And the other is personal, as Cormack searches desperately for his own younger brother, who went missing when they were children. Season 2 episodes include:

"Running" (Thursday, April 24, 2025): In 2003, Zoe Jacobs disappeared during her birthday party. Many believe Zoe ran away, others don't.

"Hope" (Thursday, April 24, 2025): New evidence gives Nadja and Sam hope that Zoe is alive. Cormack puts together a timeline.
