Plot Synopsis

Paulie (vocals), David (bass guitar), and Joey (drums) are ZO2, a Brooklyn-based rock trio that once opened for Kiss and Poison on their VH-1 "Rock the Nation" tour. That same trio is also known as Z Brothers, a kids party band with an album called 'ABZs' and events for the children of celebs, including Robert De Niro and Michael J. Fox. The hook? They make all their money during the day so they can live the life of rock stars at night. "Z Rock" is a partially-improvised, satirical comedy based on that dual life -- kids band by day; rock band by night. To bring more authenticity to the show, musicians often make guest appearances, including Daryl Hall (Hall & Oates), Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction), John Popper (Blues Traveler), and Dee Snider (Twisted Sister).
