Plot Synopsis

Some of the most violent offenses are not committed by seasoned and grizzly criminals, but by the young, rich and spoiled. Using re-enactments, archival footage, and first-person interviews with family, friends, and authorities, YOUNG, HOT & CROOKED exposes true crime stories committed by the young and wealthy, while uncovering the truth behind each tale. Each 30-minute episode chronicles a different criminal, including: 18-year-old Max Wade, who is desperate to win the attention of a gorgeous girl by stealing Chef Guy Fieri's yellow Lamborghini and breaking into a Marin County mansion to throw a wild house party; Rian Thal, who thrives in the party scene and hosts parties at the hottest nightclubs in Philadelphia, but has an encounter with big-time drug dealers; 23-year-old Scott Barker, who moved to Hollywood and gets involved in a deadly love triangle with Chie Coggins-Johnson and her boyfriend Tony Takazato; teenager Ethan Couch, who is left to do whatever he wants in a multi-million dollar mansion in Texas, but another family ends up paying the ultimate price; Brandon Woodard, who books a mysterious, last-minute trip to New York as his life spins out of control -- but what happens there shocks everyone; Barbara Wu, a college student at UC-Riverside, who asked her current boyfriend to kill her ex -- but he might also end up on her hit list; and stockbroker Jordan Belfort, who was on a drug-fueled rampage of sex, drugs, and destruction, which was the subject of the movie WOLF OF WALL STREET.
