Plot Synopsis

Based on the IDW Publishing comic created by Beau Smith, WYNONNA EARP is a one-hour drama series that follows Wyatt Earp's great, great granddaughter as she battles demons and other supernatural beings. Wynonna is a witty and wild modern day gunslinger, using her unique abilities and a dysfunctional posse of allies to bring the paranormal to justice. After a troubled adolescence following the death of her father and the disappearance of her older sister Willa, Wynonna has inherited Wyatt's mythic abilities and his famous gun -- a Colt .45 pistol with a 12-inch barrel -- along with his legendary old West enemies: revenant demons. Now, as a special agent in the Black Badge Division (a top secret sector of the U.S. Marshals), and with the help of younger sister Waverly, boss Agent Xavier Dolls and notorious gunslinger Doc Holliday, Wynonna is determined to find out what really happened to Willa -- and put an end to the Earp curse once and for all. The series opens when Wynonna celebrates her 27th birthday by reluctantly returning to her hometown to take on her family's legendary curse.

On Friday, June 9, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, Syfy premiered the second season of WYNONNA EARP. In Season 2, Wynonna and the gang must face a whole new level of evil when more paranormal beings enter the Ghost Triangle. On the season opener, "Steel Bars and Stone Walls," Wynonna tries to rescue a seemingly mutated Dolls; there may be more to Waverly than meets the eye.

Season 3 of WYNONNA EARP debuted Friday, July 20 at 9pm ET/PT on Syfy -- four days after a one-hour season sneak peek at 11pm on Monday, July 16. In the third season, reckless and reluctant warrior hero Wynonna and her team of outmatched outsiders return to face monsters, revenants and their biggest fears as they fight to take down the demon who cursed the Earp family before he destroys the Ghost River Triangle -- and the world. Guest stars for Season 3 include: Megan Follows as Michelle, Wynonna's "resurrected" birth mother; Anna Silk as Kevin; Zoie Palmer; Chantel Riley; and more. In the season opener, "Blood Red and Going Down," when a mysterious bus full of sexy strangers rolls into town, Wynonna must figure out why they're in Purgatory before the entire town falls under their spell.

Syfy premiered the fourth season of WYNONNA EARP on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 10pm ET/PT on Syfy. In Season 4, the infamous Earp Curse is broken, and witty and wild demon hunter Wynonna Earp would love to be celebrating with cold whisky and hot donuts. Too bad she has to rescue everyone she loves, save the town of Purgatory, and take on her most diabolical, Earp-hating enemy yet -- all without her trustworthy gun, Peacemaker. And that's just Monday. Due to the enforced production break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the first six episodes will culminate in a mid-season finale airing on Sunday, August 30. Production on the final six episodes of the fourth season is slated to resume later this summer in Calgary. In the season opener, "On the Road Again," Wynonna Earp races to find a way into the Garden before her sister is trapped forever. After a six-month break, WYNONNA EARP returned for its final six episodes on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT on Syfy. A new episode debuts each Friday through April 9. In the mid-season premiere, "Love's All Over," love is in the air as Waverly and Nicole celebrate their engagement with an enchanted evening.
