Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Elizabeth Stanton, WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS is a half-hour series that features a guest panel commenting on viral clips of funny animal moments, hilarious animal video from movies and TV, animal outtakes, and videos of babies and pets, as well as including celebrities and their pets. Celebrity guest stars in the first season include: Tom Arnold & Natalie Lander (series premiere); Dee Wallace; James Maslow; Murray SawChuck; Brittany Underwood; Garrett Clayton; Danielle Nicolet; Jennifer Veal; Kelli Goss; Jessica Morris & Dan Sperry; and more.

The sophomore season of WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS premiered on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 9-10pm ET/PT on The CW with back-to-back episodes. In Season 2, returning host Elizabeth Stanton welcomes these celebrity guests: Colin Mochrie (season premiere); Molly McCook; Parker Bates; Amara Zaragoza; and more.

On Saturday, October 30, 2021, The CW premiered "Halloween," a one-hour WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS special, featuring animals all decked out for Halloween, including horses, cats, dogs and goats.

The CW premiered "Christmas," a one-hour WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS special, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT. Some of the cutest animals of the Christmas season are caught on video, with host Elizabeth Stanton and special guest Kayla Compton. Commentary by Carmen Hodgson, Neel Ghosh, Mikalah Gordon, Brandon Rogers, Noah Matthews, Maiara Walsh and Brian Cooper.

On Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT, The CW debuted the mid-season premiere of WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS, featuring playful pigs, diving dogs and confused cats; a tegu eats sushi; a bear that loves the weather; energetic elephants; a golden retriever gets some rest.

"Valentine's Day," a one-hour WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS special, premiered on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT on The CW, featuring hilarious clips during the season of love, including llamas, rhinos, puppies and lambs. AJ Gibson, Emile Ennis Jr., Mikalah Gordon, Carmen Hodgson, Katherine Murray, Anna Maria Perez De Tagle and Noah Matthews provide commentary.

Season 3 of WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS premiered with back-to-back new episodes on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 9-10pm ET/PT on The CW. The season opener at 9pm features: hopping horses; rambunctious rats; dancing dogs; galloping goats; howling Huskies; a moose finds a new place to take a shower; actor Gregg Sulkin. After a one-month break, WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS, returned with new episodes on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on The CW. The winter premiere features special guest Sara Waisglass, along with commentary by Anna Maria Perez De Tagle, Devon Werkheiser, Katherine Murray, and Brian Cooper.

The fourth season of WORLD'S FUNNIEST ANIMALS premiered on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 9:30pm ET/PT on The CW. Host Elizabeth Stanton is back, along with her trusty sidekicks, Hank and Ruby. The season opener features some super cute and smart cats and dogs, cows playing ball, bears celebrating, some "horsing" around and perhaps some bad decisions. Commentary is provided by Carmen Hodgson, Devon Werkheiser and Daniel Curtis Lee.
