Plot Synopsis

WILD TRANSPORT is a half-hour reality series that follows an animal rescue, removal and relocation team specializing in dangerous creatures and deadly animals. From lions and tigers to alligators and cobras, each transport proves to be an adventure with its own set of challenges as they travel across the country with unique and risky cargo in tow. Each member of the crew -- leaders Rick the Reptile Guy and Andrew; Justin, the go-to guy for venomous creatures; and newbie Ashley -- uses their individual strengths to take on the challenges and risks of getting live cargo loaded and transported to its destination safely. Throughout the season the crew tackles a variety of precious cargo, including: a camel that proves to be smarter than expected; stubborn zedonks that like to bite like a zebra and kick like a donkey; adult tigers and their cubs, who were too cute to leave behind; a European Bison that must be moved to North Carolina; a group of restless chimpanzees; a sneaky venomous snake that goes missing; and a 900-mile trek to Mississippi to deliver a vast assortment of animals.

On Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 10-11pm ET/PT, A&E premiered back-to-back new episodes, including the season finale. In the night's first episode, "Liger Than Life," Rick and Andrew are tasked with transporting two gigantic ligers from Massachusetts to South Carolina. The massive feline cargo proves to be the least of their worries as the miles catch up to their trusty transport vehicle. Meanwhile, Justin and Ashley get their feathers ruffled while trying to load up two very large ostriches. Then in the season finale, "Dude, Where's My Giraffe," Rick and Andrew are forced to enjoy the great outdoors while transporting their biggest cargo yet, a 14-foot giraffe named Dude. Meanwhile, Justin and Ashley have their hands full when moving two African cranes and a black leopard that isn't too fond of leashes.
