Plot Synopsis

Martin and Chris Kratt take viewers on animated adventures to visit wild animals in their little-seen habitats, while highlighting key science concepts along the way. These real-life zoologists cover topics ranging from elephants using physics to suck gallons of water with their trunks to a fleet of peregrine falcons that harness the force of gravity to speed through the air. In Season 2, which premiered on October 15, 2012, this series featured the following science concepts: social organization in animals, hippopotamus territoriality, animal adaptations, predator/prey relationships, animal domestication, and many more topics aimed at 6- to 8-year-old children.

WILD KRATTS returned for its third season on Monday, April 7, 2014 on PBS (check local listings) with new episodes all week:
Mon, Apr 7: "Hermit Crab Shell Exchange," as Martin and Chris spot a hermit crab on the beach.
Tue, Apr 8: "Where the Bison Roam," as the team explores the American prairie and bison.
Wed, Apr 9: "Bandito: The Black Footed Ferret," as Martin encounters a lost colony of black-footed ferrets.
Thu, Apr 10: "When Fish Fly," as Martin and Chris pose a challenge to Koki and Aviva.
Fri, Apr 11: "Osprey," as Chris, Martin and Aviva need osprey creature powers to find keys that Jimmy dropped in the ocean.
