Plot Synopsis

Created and written by Eddie O'Keefe and Chris Hutton, WHEN THE STREETLIGHTS GO ON is a short-form drama series that centers on teenage journalist Charlie Chambers, who pieces together the clues of a vicious double homicide in the summer of 1995 in a small midwestern suburb. Friends and loved ones of the deceased struggle to make sense of their new, grief-stricken reality; meanwhile, Detective Darlene Grasso begins her investigation into the murders of Chrissy Monroe and Steve Carpenter. Aided by Charlie's discovery, she zeros in on one suspect in particular: Brad Kirchoff, Chrissy's boyfriend. On Monday, April 6, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Quibi released the first three 8-minute episodes of WHEN THE STREETLIGHTS GO ON on the same day the streaming service launched.
