Plot Synopsis

In Catalonia, single mom Angela is evicted and her estranged father dies, but she and his second wife cover up his death after learning they've been written out of his will. The series opens with the threat of eviction hanging over Angela, so she takes her family to see her estranged father, whom she asks for a loan to help support her family. After her father dies, Victoria begins to unravel in her grief, and Angela is surprised by a party thrown at her father's house, where she meets an old friend. Nando and Angela visit a lawyer. Sara needs a drum kit for her talent show. Eduardo's editor demands the first chapter of his new book. On Friday, July 27, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the 13-episode first season of WELCOME TO THE FAMILY.
