Plot Synopsis

This series of three half-hour films highlights children who have taken action to prevent obesity in their own lives as well as the lives of their families and communities. Part 1 premiered on May 16, 2012, and this program returned in 2013 with Parts 2 & 3, which first aired back-to-back on Tuesday, May 7 at 5:30pm ET/PT on HBO. The 2013 specials are: "Kebreeya's Salad Days," which f17-year-old Kebreeya's crusade to improve nutrition awareness on a personal, family and community level in her North Carolina town; and "Quiz Ed!," which tests the nutrition knowledge of students of varying ages and activity levels to inspire them to take action, revealing that there are steps kids can take toward a healthier lifestyle.
