Plot Synopsis

WEEKEND FIX is a half-hour reality series that follows actor Omar Miller and fashion designer Andres Izquieta, as they travel to a different city each week, using social networking to seek out recommendations from friends, locals, and strangers for go-to hotels, off-the-radar restaurants and can't-miss local experiences travelers won't find in guidebooks. With Omar's connections and Andres' arsenal of apps, they see how much fun they can pack into 48 hours. In each 30-minute episode, Omar and Andre explore a different city, including: San Francisco, where they ride a Big Wheel down the city's windiest street, play cricket in the park, and meet chef Michael Mina; Brooklyn, where they investigate the Maker Movement, go bowling, and try their hand at glass blowing with guests Dule Hill, Jaleel White and Jay Sean; Vancouver, where they throw axes and make sushi with the inventor of the California roll; Miami, where they celebrate Andres' birthday by throwing down in the club...and on a yacht...and in a Bentley; Washington, DC, where they chow down at an underground ramen joint; Montreal, where they play street hockey with Montreal Canadiens legends Sergio Momesso and Stephane Richer; and many more places across North America.
