Plot Synopsis

THE WATCH is a one-hour reality series that uses surveillance cameras to follow four loners living in total isolation -- out on the fringe of society, on the edge of town, up in the mountains and far up the coast -- because they've chosen to live in solitude. They are the lighthouse keepers, the night watchmen, the lone wolves who once lived among us but now are on solitary patrol against foes and predators, real and imagined. In Princeton, WV, Billy Kitchen, the watchman at The Lake Shawnee Amusement Park, an abandoned amusement park, feels the presence of Shawn, the little girl who is rumored to have died on the swings there. Dave Norwoods, the caretaker on a Montana ranch, expects to encounter extraterrestrials, but instead hosts a different kind of uninvited guest that messes around with his food supplies and his peace of mind. Brooks Kuhn, a 68-year-old keeper at Race Rock Lighthouse out in the Atlantic, must stand her ground and survive a storm all by her lonesome. In Picher, Oklahoma, the crazies are out, and Cheeto, who patrols the empty streets of an abandoned toxic mining town, visits the old high school and discovers he's not the only who went to night class.
