Plot Synopsis

In each half-hour episode of VINTAGE FLIP, Jessie and Tina Rodriguez find, buy, restore, modernize and market a vintage home in Southern California. Restoration is the key word as they tackle old kitchens that need a little TLC, bathrooms that seems more like closets, and bedrooms that don't have en suites. They never know what might be hiding behind hundred year-old walls. HGTV premiered the pilot of VINTAGE FLIP on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Noon ET/PT, as Jessie and Tina find a great 1929 Tudor home in Santa Ana, CA. Jessie had previously appeared in the "Custom Craftsman" episode of FLIP OR FLOP, a series that's also produced by Pie Town Productions. Thirteen months later -- on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 11pm-Midnight ET/PT -- HGTV broadcast the official series premiere of VINTAGE FLIP, showing back-to-back new episodes. In the series opener (11pm), "1902 Turn of the Century Cottage," Jessie and Tina flip a 1902 turn of the century cottage in Tina's hometown of Upland, California. They discover that the home has lost nearly all of its original Victorian era details. But restoring it to its original state, while modernizing for today's buyers, might burden them with substantial risk. Then, in the night's second new episode (11:30pm), "California Craftsman," Jessie and Tina purchase a Craftsman house sight-unseen in their own neighborhood of Claremont, California. However, this house has lost all of its original charm. Jessie and Tina are determined to bring back its 1920s features to attract the right buyers in Claremont. With a close proximity to the Claremont colleges, this home has the potential to fetch a substantial profit. Season 2 of VINTAGE FLIP premiered on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the season opener, "Western Craftsman," Jessie and Tina tackle the renovation of a 1912 Craftsman-style bungalow in San Dimas, a community that offers a small-town feel and unique architecture. The couple choose design elements, including color schemes and moldings, that bring back the home's original Craftsman style. They also gut the kitchen and bathroom to incorporate modern amenities that appeal to today's buyer.

HGTV premiered the Season 2 finale of VINTAGE FLIP on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11pm ET/PT. In the season ender, "Americana Craftsman," Jessie and Tina have just closed on a huge house on the historic register in Ontario, CA. They are excited to get started on this 1918 homestead but with such a historically important home, they know all eyes will be on them during this renovation. With all of the curveballs and unforeseen setbacks, will they be able to bring life back into this piece of history or will the pressure just be too much?
