Plot Synopsis

VICIOUS is a half-hour sitcom that tells the story of partners Freddie and Stuart, who have lived together in a small central London flat for nearly 50 years. Constantly picking each other apart and holding on to petty slights for decades, Freddie and Stuart are always at each other's throats, cracking snide remarks aimed at the other's age, appearance and flaws. However, whether they're hosting a wake to mark the passing of a dear friend, go shopping for a new coat for Freddie's DR. WHO fan club event, or go clubbing, underneath their vicious, co-dependent fighting, they have a deep love for one another. Freddie and Stuart are often joined by Violet, their feisty best friend, and Ash, their young, new neighbor living upstairs. PBS aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 10:30pm. VICIOUS returned for its second season on PBS on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 10:30pm, with Freddie and Stuart delivering more biting remarks, snide comments and cruel asides. Joined by friends Violet, Ash, Penelope, Mason and surprise guest characters, the men embark on another season of humorous mishaps, hideous break-ups and heart-warming make-ups.
