Plot Synopsis

VENDETTA: TRUTH, LIES AND THE MAFIA is a six-episode documentary series that centers on Sicily's anti-Mafia coalition, who are accused of being criminals even though they are trying to bring down organized crime. The series opens with TV reporter Pino Maniachi calling out key Mafia figures as judge Silvana Saguto takes controversial steps to hit the mob where it matters most: its money. Then, a damning video and an extortion charge send Pino into exile, but it isn't long before he strikes back. Silvana soon faces legal troubles of her own. All six episodes of the series dropped on Friday, September 24, 2021 on Netflix.
