Plot Synopsis

UNRAVELED uses first-person interviews, archival footage, and re-enactments to recount the fateful relationship between killer and victim as their paths intertwine. Chance meetings, random acts of violence, and mysterious encounters send ordinary people down a deadly collision course toward their own mortality. As an on-screen clock counts down the victim's final hours, days, or even years, viewers track the decisions and actions that bring the victim closer to their killer's fatal trap. Each 60-minute episode focuses on a different destructive pair, including: handsome and wealthy Jeffrey Dolloff, who ran a yoga and art studio out of his home, and his wife, Linda, who believed she had it all until Jeff gave her some bad news; and 20-year-old Thayne Ormsby, whose admiration for war veteran Bob Strout caused him to choose a dark and destructive path. Season 2 of UNRAVELED premiered on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. In the season opener, "Driven to Perfection," Houston power-couple Clara and David Harris seem to have it all. But when David strays with his secretary, his betrayal drives the once polished perfectionist to psychosis.
