ULTIMATE TREASURE COUNTDOWN is a two-part docuseries that follows historian and author Bettany Hughes, who reveals spectacular monuments on her December 2019 trip explore to Ancient Egypt. National Geographic Channel premiered both episodes back to back on Monday, April 27, 2020 from 9-11pm ET/PT:

"The Story of Cleopatra" (9pm): Professor Bettany Hughes meets the Egyptologists solving a 3,000-year-old murder mystery.

"Riches of the Pharaohs" (10pm): Professor Bettany Hughes unearths the glittering, golden treasures of the pharaohs.
