Plot Synopsis

Scuba divers from around the world compete in underwater challenges designed to test their scuba knowledge and skills, including buoyancy control, navigation and rescue. During the competition, divers must overcome surprises and unexpected twists and turns, such as becoming snagged and entangled, dealing with black-out conditions, swimming against strong currents, running short of air, overcoming obstacles and equipment failures, and fighting fatigue, dehydration and nitrogen narcosis. Teams compete in two sessions in Cozumel, Mexico until the top ten divers are identified, and then the top ten compete individually to seek the championship.
